ReSound is a Danish hearing aid manufacturer that was founded in 1943 and the company released its first hearing aid in 1947. In 1992, they introduced the first commercially available hearing aid to use digital sound processing. More than a decade later, ReSound Air was released in 2003, offering high quality sound without blocking the ear canal. Five years later, the company unveiled the dot model, at the time the world’s smallest hearing aid. Now part of the conglomerate GN Store Nord A/S, their most recent platform is LiNX. The LiNX hearing aids were the first made for iPhone hearing devices. Their latest iteration, LiNX Quattro, carries a number of popular features, like Remote programming and Binaural Directionality.
